What's included in the impression kit?

Your kit comes with everything you need to take accurate impressions at home: two sets of impression trays (large and small options), white and blue putty for two impressions, a prepaid return shipping label, a Customer Info Card, and a QR card. We've made sure nothing is missing, but if something seems off, please reach out to our team right away.
Can someone help me take my impressions?

Should I watch the instructional video before starting?

Yes, please! We really recommend watching our how-to video before you open anything. It walks you through every step visually and helps you feel confident before the clock starts. You can access it by scanning the QR code on your kit or visiting shopremi.com/pages/how-to-video.
How do I choose which tray to use?

Choose the tray that comfortably fits your entire bite, including your back molars. If your teeth touch the outside walls of the tray, size up to the larger tray. If your teeth touch the inside walls of the tray, size down to the smaller tray. If you're between sizes, use the large tray upside down to create a medium-sized tray. The correct tray should capture your full bite without your teeth pressing against the sides.
Does each tray capture both my top and bottom teeth?

Yes. Each tray is designed to capture both your upper and lower teeth at the same time in a single bite. You'll use one tray for each impression attempt.
What if I want two top impressions or two bottom impressions instead?

If you'd prefer two top or two bottom impressions, simply place the impression putty on the side of the tray for the teeth you want to capture.
Why is there a 90-second time limit for mixing and placing the putty?

You’re covered by our 45-night satisfaction guarantee. If your Once the blue and white putty are mixed together, they immediately begin to harden. You have about 90 seconds to mix the putty, place it in the tray, and bite down before it starts to set. We recommend reading through all the instructions and practicing how you'll place the tray before you begin so you can work quickly and confidently.
Remi Night Guard or Remi Custom Retainer doesn’t feel right, we’ll adjust or remake it until the fit is just right.

How long does it take to get approval after I email my photos?

Our team reviews impression photos as quickly as possible, and you'll typically receive a response within 24–48 business hours. Be sure to keep an eye on your inbox, and don't forget to check your spam or junk folder just in case.
How do I have to wait for approval before taking my second impression?

We recommend waiting for approval before using your second set of impression materials. This allows our team to review your first impression and provide any feedback or tips if improvements are needed. That way, you'll have the best chance of getting a successful second impression instead of using both sets before knowing if any adjustments are necessary.
