What is the science behind achieving deep clean?
The Ultrasonic Cleaning Device uses ultrasonic waves with a high frequency of 42,000 Hz to create millions of nano-sized bubbles. The bubbles expand rapidly and shrink, and release an enormous amount of energy. They are constantly scouring the plaque and are not abrasive to your oral appliance or jewelry. The process, referred to as cavitation, is a process that occurs approximately 4000 times per second which means that every surface and gap is constantly cleaned, which results in an extremely short, but thorough cleaning.
The precise frequency needed to achieve the ideal cavitation level is determined by the volume of water contained within the device as well as the dimension and materials of the oral device. Cleaning with ultrasonic is secure and reliable and has been extensively used in commercial, laboratory, industrial, and other areas for a long time.
Will the Ultrasonic Cleaner damage my oral appliance?
No, the ultrasonic cleaning process creates millions of tiny bubbles that gently clean the surface of your oral appliance or jewelry, causing no damage. The water is only gently warmed, meaning it won’t melt plastic aligners, retainers, or mouth guards.
Why can’t I just use sterilizing tablets?
Tablets can be effective at cleaning away some bacteria, but no where near as thorough as an ultrasonic cleaning process. Using tablets is more likely to leave your oral appliance looking cloudy and dirty.
Can’t I just clean my oral appliance with a toothbrush?
Using a toothbrush can actually damage your oral appliance over time, since the bristles of a toothbrush can be too abrasive. On top of this, a toothbrush will never be able to provide a thorough clean.

I'm currently using Invisalign
and I was looking for a gentle way to clean them without causing any damage. I simply drop them into Remi with water and sometimes a piece of denture tab to clean.
